Welcome!

We’re Adam and Esther, and we’re so glad you’re here. We’re about to embark on a Grand Adventure, so we hope you’ll follow along.

On May 13th, we’ll fly from Boston to London. On the 14th, we’ll take the train from London to Canterbury. On May 15th, we’ll start walking on the Via Francigena – the Road from France. This ancient pilgrimage route goes from Canterbury to Rome, Italy, via France and Switzerland.

Since we both love history, we’ve decided to do this walk in 18th century French clothes. If you’re walking the VF and you see two folks in funny clothes, it’s probably us! We’ll post soon about our packing list and what, exactly, 18th century French clothing entails.
