About

Adam and Esther Hodges-LeClaire met in 2017 and realized pretty quickly they liked going on adventures together. Adam is a tailor and 18th century historian by trade; Esther is an architect and loves historic structures. As one might imagine, they’re both quite nerdy and enjoy getting into the details. They got married in 2019 and have enjoyed almost 7 years exploring the world with each other, in a variety of centuries. Together, they time travel regularly to the 1750s, 1760s, 1770s, 1780s, the 1920s, and the 1930s.

Adam holds a Master of Arts in Modern History from the University of St. Andrews. He worked as a tailor at Fort Ticonderoga for six years and now runs his own business, AHL Tailor and Naval Clothier, which specializes in 18th century clothing and accessories.

Esther holds a Master of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology. She worked as an architect in Boston for 10 years and now runs her own business, Johnston House Studio, which specializes in residential architecture and design.
